Hanseatic inspiration

A sister ship to the Hanseatic nature, the Hanseatic Inspiration was also launched in 2019 and shares all the same design features and technical specifications, including the PC6 ice class. The key difference is that the Hanseatic inspiration is designed for a slightly more international audience, offering services and onboard language in both German and English, while its sister ships are predominantly German-speaking. Like the Hanseatic nature, it carries 230 passengers and 175 crew members, ensuring a highly personalized expedition experience. It offers the same three gourmet restaurants, a state-of-the-art observation deck, a fleet of 10 Zodiacs for exploration, and comprehensive spa and fitness facilities.

The Hanseatic inspiration is the ideal choice for English-speaking adventurers seeking a top-tier luxury expedition cruise to destinations that are otherwise difficult to access, providing a perfect blend of comfort and raw, scenic exploration.

Hanseatic spirit

The newest ship in the Hapag-Lloyd fleet, the Hanseatic Spirit, was launched in 2021 and completes the trio of expedition vessels. It features the same cutting-edge technology, ice-class rating, and intimate capacity as its sister ships, explicitly designed for journeys to the most captivating and remote corners of the world. The Hanseatic spirit continues the tradition of expert-led expeditions and 5-star luxury service. Carrying 230 guests (199 in polar regions) in 120 suites, the ship offers a high standard of all-inclusive luxury.

Guests can enjoy breathtaking views from their private verandahs or the ship's numerous observation areas. The focus remains firmly on immersive discovery, with a team of experts on hand to educate guests on the unique environments they are exploring. The Hanseatic spirit offers the ultimate modern platform for environmentally conscious and adventurous travelers seeking to experience spectacular, off-the-beaten-path scenery in unparalleled comfort and style.

MS Europa 2

Launched in 2013, the MS Europa 2 is Hapag-Lloyd's modern luxury masterpiece, designed with a more contemporary, casual-yet-sophisticated flair than its sister ship. While still a 5-star-plus vessel, it offers a relaxed atmosphere without formal dress codes, appealing to a broad demographic of luxury travelers seeking freedom and flexibility. The ship is larger than the Europa but maintains an exclusive feel with just 500 guests and 370 crew members, ensuring a very high level of personal attention.

The MS Europa 2 sails to some of the world's most attractive destinations, featuring a diverse range of scenic cruises. It boasts 251 all-suite cabins, each with a private verandah. Onboard, guests can choose from eight restaurants offering everything from French haute cuisine to a sushi restaurant, plus numerous bars and lounges. The ship emphasizes wellness and family with a dedicated spa, a modern gym offering classes, a golf simulator, and supervised clubs for younger guests. For those seeking a blend of luxury, diverse dining, and a relaxed, contemporary environment, the MS Europa 2 is an exceptional choice.

Hanseatic Nature

The Hanseatic Nature, launched in 2019, is one of Hapag-Lloyd's three state-of-the-art expedition ships, explicitly built for exploration in remote and dramatic landscapes. It features the highest ice class for passenger ships (PC6), allowing it to safely navigate polar regions such as the Arctic and Antarctic, as well as sail to warmer, exotic destinations like the Amazon and the Great Lakes. The ship's design prioritizes the scenic experience, with a unique observation lounge and an accessible marina for launching Zodiacs.

Accommodating only 230 guests (or 199 in polar regions) with a crew of 175, the ship offers an intimate, expert-led journey of discovery. Guests are accommodated in 120 suites, many of which feature open-air balconies. The boat includes three restaurants, an extensive wellness area, and a large contingent of naturalists and expedition experts who provide lectures and guidance during shore excursions. The Hanseatic nature is ideal for adventurous travelers seeking a 5-star luxury experience while exploring the world's most pristine and remote scenic wonders.
